appearance~
Miyuki’s a little on the short side, standing at a height of 5”1. She likes to emphasise this extra inch and does not appreciated it being rounded down. Her figure is lean, but not the point where she is entirely shapeless. She maintains a body weight considered healthy for her height. Her hair is black and straight. It falls a little below her shoulders and is, more often than not, bunched into low pigtails. It has sort of become a signature style for her. Her eyes are a deep, royal blue in colour, somewhat unusual for a girl of Japanese background. Miyuki considers them to be her best feature, but make sure not to stare into them for too long.
At school, of course you will find Miyuki wearing the standard high school girl’s uniform, enjoying all of its puffiness and impracticalities. Outside of school, she enjoys wearing clothes that are somewhat different. This means brighter colours, patterns and the like; dressing to impress. Luckily for Miyuki, she has a team of stylists who handle this for her; she doesn’t have the sharpest eye for fashion.
personality~
Miyuki likes to know everything that’s going on, when the matter at hand concerns her. When she is talking to you, she will ask you questions, or present facts that you must clarify. Rather than being nosy like some say, she considers herself to be very thorough. She yearns for friendship, but finds it hard to completely trust people. Because of this, Miyuki is sometimes judged as being self-centred and a little bit prejudiced towards those who do not meet her expectations of them. But the truth is, she does try to understand people; it’s more of a subconscious fear that she has, thinking that people are out to get her and hurt the people whom she cares about.
She enjoys competition, but of course she enjoys winning more. Miyuki is fairly stubborn, and will not often show her vulnerability, so she fakes graciousness from time to time. She will speak her mind only when convenient, but sometimes words will fly out beyond her control. This can cause her to hurt people inadvertently, or come across as sarcastic. At these times where she holds back, the little voice in her head would probably be screaming at her.
Naturally due to her parentage, Miyuki is also quite creative. This shows in her vast sense of imagination and also her musical abilities. With her father being so admired and well-connected in the music industry, there aren't many musical instruments that she will find too difficult. Besides, even if she did, she would persevere with it until she could play at least one song. Miyuki supposes that the time will come when the public will throw her into some sort of singing career, but she'd much rather decide for herself when and if that will happen.
If you ever wish to befriend Miyuki, you must demonstrate to her that you are trustworthy, and this will take a while. But if you put in the work, she will be very loyal to you, and become somewhat attached. Also, she is much more likely to be open about her feelings and insecurities. Rather than be entirely analytical, Miyuki will be much more laid-back and cheerful. She is quite protective of the people she cares about, particularly her father. Miyuki will not hesitate to retaliate if you do anything to harm herself or her friends.
history~
Miyuki is the eldest child in her family. Her father is a very popular and highly talented musician, while her mother was a former child star and now a sophisticated actress. They were both very young when they married. Miyuki was born into and lives in a world where it is vital to make a good impression. People often sold out their friends and family members for money or stories, so it was hard to tell who was genuine and who was not.
When she was six year old, her parents divorced. At the time, her nannies said that it was because they were too young to be married and they were both heavily involved with their careers. It was once thought that her mother’s representatives wanted her to end the marriage. This was in order to give her a more refined image, so that she could be taken more seriously as an artist. Ever since the divorce, Miyuki has spent her summers in Honolulu, Hawaii with her mother and more recently, her new husband. Considering the little amount of time they spend together, Miyuki gets on reasonably well with her mother.
Miyuki’s father remarried when she was nine, followed by the birth of her half-brother one year later. Rumour has it that it may have been a shotgun wedding. Miyuki believes that they married for the good of the baby. They divorced three years later. While her half-brother lives with his mother, he attends Ouran Academy’s elementary school. She goes to the effort to see him frequently, so that he sees her as a good big sister.
During her first hear of middle school, Miyuki’s best friend at the time left Japan without giving any prior warning. This hurt her considerably, and she began to further lose trust in people. She thought that since they were best friends, she would bother to tell her if things were changing, or if things were upsetting her, but apparently that wasn’t the case. Since then, Miyuki has become more wary when it came to new friendships, because she knows now that she can never guarantee what they will do, or how they will feel. After her friend’s departure, school had become less enjoyable for Miyuki, so she willingly accompanied her father around the world when he announced a two year concert tour and was educated on the road instead.
Miyuki returned to Ouran Academy in time to start high school. In the last year she has made a couple of friends including Maybelle Immortal, and she is happily settling back into a structured school life.
Considering her need to know everything that is going on, Miyuki sometimes visits the Ouran Host Club. She didn't particularly want to at first, but the club's popularity meant that it was the constant talk of the school; Miyuki found it hard to keep up socially.

Allegra Fox was tired; she was not really a morning person. Not having access to a mirror for a while, she wouldn’t have been surprised if her dark eyes were slightly bloodshot. She did know that her dirty blonde hair had a habit of finding its way into her mouth, something rather annoying which caused her to cough. With her trunk in one hand, the kitten’s cage balanced on top of that, and a broomstick in the other, she was more than relieved when she had found the Hogwarts Express. Trying to make her way through that blasted wall between the platforms at the muggle train station was rather difficult, considering that apparently most muggles didn’t fly broomsticks. Allegra wondered why she was even at the muggle train station, considering she was pure-blood, and a Slytherin at that. Oh, that was it. The rest of her family, being the much-loved Ravenclaw-esque people they were, had dragged her along to interact socially with their muggle-born friends. Seeing as she was about to start her fifth year, Allegra figured that soon she might not have to engage in these awkward social gatherings.
Regardless of the strange experiences of the last week or so, she knew she was in a much more comfortable environment. Instead of having to fail at grasping the concept of the telephone, she would be making potions, transfiguring ... things, and playing lots and lots of quidditch. Of course, that only depended if she made the team this year, but Allegra was quietly confident in her abilities. It seemed that her moment in stardom was not too far away. She sighed. It reminded her that her broomstick was in her hand when it should really belong on the train.
Trying to make her way through the aisle and find a carriage proved very difficult. It seemed that everywhere she stepped happened to be on a first year. Merlin, they were short. Normally a more friendly person would probably let the hyperactive ickle first years get the best carriages, because it was ‘a special experience for them’, but Allegra sure as hell wasn’t going to let that happen. There was no way she was going to be stuck in a cramped carriage filled with giddy second year Gryffindor girls boasting non-stop about how brilliant they were at everything. They had no good reason to; for one, Gryffindor’s quidditch result last year was mediocre at best.
“Move.” Allegra grumbled, annoyed. She took hold of some anonymous child’s shoulder and pushed them to the side. “Move it” and another; about another five. Poor Pipsqueak, her kitten, must have found the noise unbearable. Finally Allegra had been able to push through the swarm of sugar-high tiny people and was able to open some carriage doors.
Hufflepuffs. Brilliant.
The next carriage, Prefects.
The one after that. Ugh. She shuddered. First years.
Allegra felt a surge of victory when she found an empty carriage towards the back of the train. It would have had to be one of the last ones, and this made her accomplishment seem even more grand. Happy with her achievement, she sat herself down on a comfortable seat near the window. Now all she had to do was wait for some worthwhile people to show up. She knew she could keep anyone else at bay; most people had a tendency to steer clear of anyone with as much as a green ribbon in their hair.
